Thank you to everyone who is here visiting the site.

The CHICAGO CLUB SCENE forum was created as a place for Chicagoans and tourists alike to discover electronic dance music events happening in the city.

Having formerly worked with Detroit Club Scene, and once an active participant at Detroit Luv before moving to Chicago, I saw the rise of social media reduce the need for a standard web Event forums.

Today, there are a number of websites and apps that provide event information for Chicago. However, they are either national corporations that do not include smaller events in the city, or local endeavors with small event lists only promoting a select number of shows for the upcoming month or so.

These resources are certainly helpful, but the top recommended apps and sites often overlook numerous events hosted by Chicago's outstanding local talent.

I felt it would be helpful to create CHICAGO CLUB SCENE to aggregate a most complete listing of upcoming Chicago electronic music events with flyers sourced directly from the DJ/Producer community and various social media sites.

Chicago Club Scene is primarily focused on electronic dance music including:

HOUSE/TECHNO/DNB/EDM/DANCE

Occassionally, we may include other artists/band events that are heavily influenced by electronic music.

I know the old school forum may feel a bit archaic to some, but at the very least, I think the site provides a go-to spot to find out what electronic dance music Events are happening THIS WEEK in Chicago. 

I feel it is important to stress that CHICAGO CLUB SCENE is locally curated and often in contact with Chicago venues, promoters, and artists in order to bring you the most up-to-date flyers and last minute event updates.
