SEPTEMBER'S ARTIST SPOTLIGHT::::

DJ PIERRE

DJ Pierre, the visionary Chicago acid pioneer behind Phuture, forged the iconic 1986 track "Acid Tracks" using the Roland TB-303 synthesizer to birth an entirely new genre of electronic dance music. As a core member of Phuture alongside Herb J and Spanky, he revolutionized the underground club scene by blending hypnotic basslines with raw, repetitive electronic textures that defined the acid house movement.
